Claire Webster (Principal)

Mrs Claire Webster, Osteopath, South Westminster Osteopathic Clinic

B.Sc.(Ost.), Lic. Ac. (Hons.) PG Dip Sports Injuries

Claire graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 1992, establishing the South Westminster Osteopathic Clinic in 1993. Over the years she has developed a reputation for excellence in Osteopathic healthcare, taking many referrals from local GPs, and Neurology and Sports Medicine Consultants who trust her ability to both identify and treat a wide range of problems including headaches, neck and back pain.

She has a particular interest in sports injuries and was one of the founder members of the Osteopathic Sports Care Association, attending the Commonwealth Games in 2002 and working with both the Scottish Exiles and London Scottish professional rugby squads. For many years she was a clinic tutor at the British School of Osteopathy delivering lectures and supervising undergraduates whilst they assessed and treated patients.

Philippa Last

Phillipa Last, Osteopath, South Westminster Osteopathic Clinic

Philippa started working at the South Westminster Osteopathic Clinic following her graduation from the British School of Osteopathy in 1998. She remained in London until 2005 when she moved to Lincolnshire to set up her own practice, but in June 2009 made a welcome return to the practice so that she could develop her career as a clinic tutor at the British School of Osteopathy delivering lectures and supervising third and fourth year undergraduates whilst they assess and treat patients.

She has a broad range of interests including the treatment of work-related disorders and pregnancy related back pain. She has comprehensive diagnostic and technical skills and uses a wide range of treatment approaches including cranial osteopathic techniques.

Peter Thresher

Peter Thresher, Osteopath, South Westminster Osteopathic Clinic

B.Ost, B.Sc, M.Sc (Oxon)

Peter graduated with distinction from The British School of Osteopathy in 2004.  His interest in osteopathic health care came from his sports background, having played premiership rugby for Harlequins, county league cricket and golf.

He has a special interest in sports injuries but he also treats many other types of patient including expectant mothers and the elderly, and uses a wide variety of techniques. If appropriate, Peter may combine treatment with strengthening exercises, stretches and specific postural and work-related advice tailored to meet each individual's requirements.
